Are you here because you’re interested in a big change in your life? Maybe you’ve heard of the sacred vine and you want to know more about this ayahuasca retreat and others. You may simply be curious about this amazing medicine, or have decided to dive in, to find out what awaits you. Whatever your reason, thank you for being here. We hope to help you find what you’re looking for.
At Amor y Luz we offer a few different healing modalities that you won’t find elsewhere. We are learning to work with very unique Rainforest medicines, among them Kambo. Kambo (or Sapo) is a secretion of a sacred frog in this part of the world. Indigenous tribes use it to purify themselves of “Panema” or bad luck. It is also an amazing detoxifying tonic, that can heal all types of ailments.
The use of Kambo can accelerate the effects of Ayahuasca, to go straight in to the spiritual elements, after rapidly detoxifying the physical effects of our Western lifestyles. Healers all over the world are fascinated by the properties of this unique medicine.
Likely, you already know all about Ayahuasca. You’ve probably researched how it’s made, what it can do for you and what the experience is like. So, we’re not going to go super in depth about all that.
On this site you’ll find what it’ll be like when you work with Amor y Luz specifically. We’ll also walk you through who we are and why we do what we do. It’s a way for us to get to know one another without officially meeting yet.
We’ve personally had many eye opening experiences during and after ayahuasca ceremonies that have left us changed forever. It’s a pleasure to be able to sit with you while you have your experience.
We respect the medicines we work with deeply and are excited to share. At any ayahausca retreat we hold, we like to work with people who have a seeker mentality, want to grow and have an open heart. If that sounds like you, or even kind of like you, we might be a good fit.
We have the highest standards in making the medicine we use and work only with shamans that are in the light. Your experience and growth is our priority and main job. We use the traditional brew of Banisteriopsis caapi (ayahuasca vine) and Psychotria viridis (chacaruna). Read more about this on the Our medicine page.
